Last Friday, I had the privilege of documenting the union of Sarah-Louise and Harry at the historic Assembly House. Their wedding day was a tapestry of emotions, traditions, and cherished moments that I'm excited to share with you.

Sarah-Louise and Harry's journey began a decade ago, sparked by chance encounters and nurtured by shared dreams. From the moment they met through mutual friends just before college, their bond grew stronger with each passing year. Fast forward to their magical proposal in Disney World, where Harry's heartfelt declaration of love at the wishing well sealed their fate.
A Venue Steeped in History
The Assembly House, with its grandeur and charm, provided the perfect backdrop for Sarah-Louise and Harry's love story to unfold. Situated in the heart of Norwich, this historic venue exudes elegance and sophistication, making it an ideal setting for weddings steeped in tradition and romance.
As Sarah-Louise and her bridal party prepared for the day's festivities in Room 1 of the Assembly House, the air was filled with anticipation and excitement. Surrounded by loved ones, including her mother, bridesmaids, and Harry's sisters, the atmosphere was a blend of joy and nostalgia, reminiscent of the countless memories shared over the years.
Meanwhile, Harry and his groomsmen gathered at their home address in Rackheath, Norwich, for their final preparations. With his best man, Dan, and close friends by his side, Harry embraced the moments leading up to the ceremony with a mix of nerves and anticipation.

A Ceremony of Love and Unity
The ceremony, held at the Assembly House, was a testament to Sarah-Louise and Harry's unwavering commitment to each other. The couple exchanged vows amidst the company of their closest family and friends, Harry's mum read a lovely poem which left everyone in the room to tears, even myself and the registrar's eyes filled with tears seeing so much love in the room for these two.
Following the ceremony, I had the pleasure of capturing a series of group shots, each one a cherished memory in the making. From intimate family portraits to candid moments shared between friends, every photograph served as a testament to the love and unity that permeated the day.
We then set out for a very windy walk to Plantations Gardens for some couple time and an all-important time together to soak up the day and reflect on this incredible journey they have started together.
A Celebration to Remember
As the evening unfolded, the Assembly House transformed into a hub of laughter, music, and heartfelt speeches. Guests enjoyed welcome drinks and canapés as they mingled and celebrated the newlyweds' union. Speeches, delivered before the meal, were a blend of humour and sentimentality, setting the stage for an evening filled with love and laughter.
Though Sarah-Louise and Harry opted out of a traditional first dance, their cutting of the cake at 7:30 marked a symbolic moment of shared joy and celebration.
