I’m totally delighted to introduce Laura so that she can tell you a little bit more about her business ….

Please Tell us about yourself

I have worked at the Windmill for just over a year now, and I can honestly say I am one of those very fortune few who can say they love their job. You cannot help but fall in love with the Windmill and the surroundings. And I have always enjoyed providing people a brilliant experience, giving them the break we all deserve! But what really makes it the best job is the team I have the privilege to work with, we are a small team who truly care for each other. As cheesy as it may sound, it is like a family and each day it is a joy just to be with everyone in such a fantastic place.

What’s been your favourite ever weddings you’ve worked on?

One of my first outside weddings last year, the couple were so in love and everyone was so friendly, it didn’t even feel like work. It was so relaxed but when the bride walked down the aisle, everyone had a tear in their eye.

You’re surrounded by beauty in your job. What do you find beautiful?

Being able to create the setting and be part of so many couples special day that they will remember forever.

We have a lovely lady in the village, Bev who does nearly all of the decorations for our weddings, she is Serendipityweddinghire.co.uk and she really is brilliant!
