Wedding day at Elms Barns, Beccles with Laura and Matt

What an amazing wedding day at Elms Barn near Beccles.

Elms Barn is truly a beautiful venue, with so many amazing places to go for photos, a rose garden (tick), a lake with a bridge (tick), a walking through the trees (tick) and in the evening long grass with trees and a flower garden (tick, tick, tick) If your lucky and depending on the time of year there is a huge field with corn in too. I can not fault Elms Barn they truly look after you as well. The food was amazing and all the staff were so friendly and even checking I was ok offering me water. 5 stars from me!

We were all really worried about the weather, the day before Laura and Matt's wedding day was horrible, with so much wind and rain, even hail at one point. I had packed my car with wellies, 3 umbrellas and a big raincoat. BUT we were lucky, it was very cloudy (which I love) and we did have a big downpour of rain just as the bridesmaids arrived at the wedding venue but the day was warm and everyone was happy.

Laura and Matt are such a sweet couple and when they told me they were bringing their dog, Declan, to the wedding I was so excited. Declan is such a sweet dog they adopted him. He is driven by food (much like myself) and so friendly you can't help but want to hug him. Everyone, when he arrived, was over the moon to see him and he got so much attention. I could have had him by my side all day.

I still get shocked at how fast the wedding day goes. I guess like they say "time flies when you're having fun". This day did just that, from Prep to the wedding breakfast whizzed by then the next thing sun was setting and first dancing was in full swing.

Thank you so much Laura and Matt for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was such a fun-filled day. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together and I will be in touch soon. In the meantime enjoy your preview.
