I can definitely say I have the best job in the world!
I love capturing bump-to-birthday sessions at the studio in Swaffham.
This gorgeous family have been coming to see me for over a year now. I have loved seeing Alexander grow up and see his little personality change over the sessions.
Mum and dad are just the coolest parents ever so full of love and kindness, it is amazing to see them every time too.
My Bump to birthday sessions are special, we can tailor-make them to you and have loads of fun!
1st session - mum and bump session (Maternity session) - this is to be done between 24-36 weeks, depending on if you want your hair and makeup done this session last around an hour to an hour and a half. I have maternity dresses and we can talk about what you would like, get a mood board going and create something magical.
2nd session - Dreamy newborn session - This is done in the studio and is best to be done between 5-14 days old, a session can last up to 4 hours and I love it when you bring other siblings so I can get the who family together. I am totally driven by the baby, and safety comes first. I start with wrapping the little one, add in parents and siblings then props, stop for a feed then try the squishy posy on the bean bag/ table.
3rd session - Tummy time - This is best to be done when the little one learns to roll or start pulling themselves up around 4 months. This session is around 30-45mins
4th session - Sitting session - Once your little one starts to sit up by themself around the 8month mark, I capture some beautiful sitting poses, I like to add props and have fun. Again this session is around 30-45 mins as little ones lose interest quickly.
5th session - Cake smash (Happy Birthday)- Near their 1st birthday let's go all out! I have some amazing backdrops, a dream catcher, flowers, and different colours so we can create the perfect party place for a cake smash (cake not included). I start off with some portraits, on their own and with mum and dad, then set up for the cake smash and let the fun begin. Cake goes everywhere!! Then after the fun is all done we clean up with some tub time. We can do bubbles or a milk bath whichever you would like. I have a small selection of beautiful little outfits dresses for girls and jeans with braces for boys.
Any of these sessions can be done at your home as well, I call them lifestyle sessions You can pick which location you would like to do them in.
Lifestyle sessions are different as done with natural lighting, not studio lighting.
